Cook

This morning, Molly did something new. She said a word that neither I nor signing time had deliberately taught her.

I was making eggs for her breakfast, and she was watching intently. I asked her something like "What is mommy making for you" (She usually says "ecks!" excitedly ) and she said "Cook".

At first I thought she said "Book". However, she didn't sign book (which she would normally do), and was not holding or pointing at a book.

I asked her again, and she began saying "Cook, Cook, Cook!". My baby never ceases to surprise me. I wonder what the sign for cook is.

We just got 9 new signing time DVDs. Mommy and Daddy are more excited about them than she is... As great as they are, if you only have 4, 30 minute shows even the most easygoing parent would get tired of them.
